Yesterday, it was the "European day without cars" so I celebrated it taking Rex -my biggest car- to a monthly classic car meeting 30 miles from my city. As it is not a European car I think itīs "politically correct".

There we also met a friend who recently inherited a '68 CDV from his brother, who lived in U.S. and 20 years ago brought it to Spain as it was his daily car in America for many years. You can see both of us behind the caddies.

Itīs funny... Watching both cars together you can appreciate how different and yet how similar are both year styles.

Lovely Cadillacs. Every day on "Earth Day", usually April 22 here in the states, I go do a massive burnout in front of Al Gore's house here in Nashville. Its been kind of a low-key affair, ie all my buddies pile into my car and we just head out to Mr Gore's estate in Belle Meade, its 312 Lynwood Blvd. Too bad you can't see the house from the street for all the trees he's planted, but I know for sure he see's those 300' of blackmarks when he pulls out of his driveway. That is the same house he lives in that has an electric bill 10 times higher than the national average, ie the energy hog house.

I wish I lived closer. We could get a whole crew of people and cars together doing that on Earth Day.

Oh, how displeased must feel Mr. Gore when he gets out of his estate in his Prius and see all this rubber in the pavement

I would like the skid marks to be on his ample backside but then again; I am mean and detest him.
