Those are good years and I like them all too, but yeah just something about the '59's angles and curves that are captivating. Even if the fins are, of course, an extreme XD

For me, the 59 is not the pinnacle of styling. 57 was. 59s are over the top for the sake of being over the top, and some of the models look downright disproportional IMO. Give me a 57 eldo biarritz any day.

Thank you very much for posting these timeless cars I appreciate that and save them too
I too love 59 styling ,can't make up my mind what to like the most 57 or 59 , however, 57 edges out the 59s imo
57's front end , 59's rear end , side profile 57's again so grand total 2-1 in favor of 57 lol

That is the purpose of being a luxury car---over the top for the sake of being as such. I like the 59 Biarritz with the extra chrome strips the best.

Re: Post a pic of your RWD Caddy!

I always loved the 59 for the absolutely unabashed over-the-top styling.
I find that the last ten years the over exposure the media has given them has soured them a little to me.
It is sad that a favorite of mine is now a car that I react to with "Oh another one of those."

61 or 62 convert for me please, since we are ordering anyway.
Like we said in the biz, call the used car factory!

I can see why the stupidmedia uses the 1959 as it is the quintessential 50s Cadillac---everyone knows that car. It was the zenith of styling for the era. Then it gradually sunk down and down to this:

Mid 50s? That's really cool. I wish I could find centers like that for my turbines

94 Brougham. Picked it up last weekend. The body isn't quite as good as it appears in the picture, but for the price I figured I can't go wrong.

Not too far off but wrong decade. The guy had the same ones in light blue. $30 and he makes them right after you pay on the spot. He had maybe 20 different caddy years to choose from. I have his website if you want. $45 to your door.
