Couldn't agree more. My first car was a big body Fleetwood, and I am proud to own another. They are a true pleasure to drive.

Stellar! I would love to see this next to my triple black Fleetwood with the big daddy grill :-D Man that is sleek.

Re: Post a pic of your RWD Caddy!

    Today, Branwen went to Church.

Then moved inside, overhanging the tiny parking spaces in both the front and back.

Then went to visit her younger cousin from the other side of GM's family tree.

It was Sting's graduation. The Roo Wagon looks really sharp now. Hardly seems like the car I remember from four years ago, when last I saw it.

Then, in the spirit of being the Hellish Bitch Goddess that she is and not wanting to leave Saint Augustine as I passed through to handle some business after leaving Jacksonville, Branwen decided that since I brought a spare tyre, jack, oil, water and all kinds of tools (superstitious, since last time I had nothing, far from home, I got my tyre slashed and it cost me seven hours of my time to get home) and there was little she could do to keep me there longer...she just ruptured her radiator.

Given the high operating temp of the Olds 307, the coolant light never even came on, but I immediately identified the problem. Patched in a phone call to some reinforcements in the area (since we came to rest right in Ormond Beach, conveniently) and by the time they arrived (maybe thirty minutes) I had already placed an order and paid for a much better, far superior radiator, which should be arriving at my house soon. Not bad.

Of course, everything happens for a reason. Immediately thereafter, we proceeded back onto the interstate, but a massive accident hat shut the entire thing down, so I had to detour the 100+ miles left of my trip (good thing I know every back road) and came out in the opposite side of my home county. Had my car not decided to do this, I may have been involved in the accident, or at the very least, would definitely have been stuck on the interstate when they shut it down, so it actually saved me time.

Sort of like the time my headlamps just blipped off as I reached the front of my neighbourhood (saw them go out in the reflection in the bumper of a car ahead of me. Knowing that was impossible, I turned instead onto a side road, shut them off and put them back on. They worked fine. CRUNCH. Just then, a car rear-ended the car that had been directly in front of me, as he waited at the stop light. I suppose my car does not like being rear-ended and decided that would be a good way to move me out of the way for fifteen seconds.

My nomination for "RWD Cadillac Of The Month" is still the Roo Wagon.

1992 Brougham 5.7L, 80,000 miles. I picked it up last week. It had been driven about 1,000 miles in the last year, and I drove it 600 miles home with no issues. Rides like a dream. Pics are before & after a quick wash.

Nice find. I nearly owned one but the seller and I were $1000 a part.

Nice one! I like how the lower kit blends into the white of the body.

Here's my 1979. Its a 2 owner car (I'm the 3rd) and I got it with 93,000 miles. It even has the original floor mats and trunk mat! Even the power antenna works! I added full dual exhausts with 50 Series Flowmasters.

    Beautiful!
    Do I detect a sunroof?

I like the front plate. Good choice for filling that space.

    '68 hood.jpg[IMG][/IMG]
Hood shot of my '68 CDV crossing the Mojave from San Diego to Las Vegas in April. Still a great runner, fuel stops were frequent, and eye popping expensive. Lots of thumbs up, and flashing headlights, always make the annual trip a blast. Note the clear bug screen across the front of the hood. It gets almost as much attention as the car at shows.
