Re: Post a pic of your RWD Caddy!

The photo isn't black and white, it just seems that way with the darker headlamps. I don't have a fancy iPhone for that and just a little HTC status, with the flash permanently turned on, because the corner of the touchscreen required to shut it off is no longer functional...and this makes for really wonky photos sometimes. The badge is the pewter coloured one, because while I like the gold ones (and even own one) It really clashes with the rest of the car, which is black/silver. I think Black is the only colours that the gold badges don't work well with.

The photo itself just got really cool lighting, because it was just around sunset, dark, rainy and I had just a hint of light coming from the glass entryway of the Advance Auto Parts I was parked at, as I was in the space directly outside the door.

The badge is like this one from Ebay:

The Silent Siren Grille badge needs no backstory. My Cadillac isn't a four-door. It's a Five-Door. Some of my Hearse Family, Robey and Melissa have factory headlamps, but have customized high-beam bulbs with a Silent Siren pattern. They should put wig-wag kits on their highbeams, like I have. Looks good in parades and at gatherings, but is a rare factory option. Also, they're useful for when you have to pull someone over for doing 30 mph in the fast lane.

The post right above my post with the grille badge shows the headlamps at night. Not really from a distance, but I will get a photo next time I am someplace outdoors and without too much other lighting around.

The orange in the parking light it what made me question. Well, and the picture in #2757.

Yeah the first photo in #2757 is from December 2011. I have since switched the headlamp retainers to the darker ones.

How my 1980 Cadillac Coupe sits since November of last YEAR! Ever since I got my new (to me) 11 Hyundai Sonata Limited. It's been started maybe twice, lol but it just sits there...

That is a gorgeous coupe. How can you resist cruising that car?

Get that fine lady out and stretch her legs once in a while!
Thank you for the pics, I love it!

There seems to be some strange ornamentation on your car... The block de Ville lettering; is they from a '90's Northstar wreck? And that grill medallion; what is it and do you have a better picture?

    Looking good!

The badge appears to be a generic one, like you'd find on Ebay or elsewhere, if I am not mistaken.

These are the primary two colour schemes you tend to see. There are also red/black/green ones.

I haven't seen headlamp blinders like that in a LONG time. Probably at least fifteen years.

Lots of grille badges lately. We need to design a CadillacOwners.com grille badge. The CLC has their own designs.

Until then, I'll just have to find a AAA "Mortician Member" badge.

    That is a great site.
Should probably start a thread for it where it could be discussed and we could put ideas up. Also would need to know what permissions would be required from site admin, etc.
If we went ahead with it, once a logo were designed and approved they have lots of items which could be of interest to members, dash plaques, key chains, and such.

It would match my chrome "Graveyard Mafia" window plaques very nicely.

"Rep where you come from" they say.

Yeah, there from a wreck 90s car. It had both on both sides and removed them. I was offering them to a friend, but he kept saying later and later, next friday. So I went ahead and placed them on mine.

The grille badge I got off of eBay a long time ago. So The-Dullahan got it correct...I also have a Heritage badge with the Roman numeral II but have not installed it. The grille is incorrect, it's off of 84ish and my car is an 80 but for $9.99 cannot go wrong with price.

The grille badge is off eBay and purchased a long time ago...

The headlight eyelids I found them in a junkyard off of an Oldsmobile. There's also headlight visors for these style of headlights (4x6) but look funny, IMO. Those look better on round headlights.
