The custom 56 is gorgeous. Just a word of warning about that exhaust, though. If you route them through the bumper ends as intended, the exhaust gases will corrode your chrome away. This is why most of these cars that get driven have the exhaust routed down towards the pavement.

As for that 85 Fleetwood Coupe... I'm surprised Chad hasn't crept over to Cleveland and absconded with it.

That is an awesome coupe. The great irony, is I only just mentioned how I would love to find one like that with about 12,000 miles on it someplace.

Still carefully watching one that dwells down here (With a 350 in it for whatever reason) with great interest.

    .
Yeah, that's the main reason why I haven't put the exhaust through the bumper yet. Those bumper ends are rare in this condition. Most are chewed up by corrosion caused by the exhaust. Thanks for the reminder.

Re: Post a pic of your RWD Caddy!

It's been awhile since I have posted on here, and I noticed that the photos I posted to this thread are no longer linked correctly. I have also owned another Brougham since I posted my first pictures on this thread a year ago. In the past I have owned a 1987 Brougham with Astroroof (This was my first Brougham, and it was used as a winter beater while I was in high school), a 1988 Dark Sapphire Brougham, a 1988 Autumn Maple Firemist Brougham d'Elegance, and a 1991 Dark Antelope Brougham (I restored this one). I currently own a Sapphire Blue 1991 Brougham d'Elegance with a 5.7 liter V8, astroroof, factory gold package and genuine wire wheels (I added the wheels).

My first Brougham was a base 1987 with astroroof. I saw this car parked on the side of the road in 2002 for $700. I bought it and this beast began duty as my high school beater. Of course, it was in better condition when I sold it than when I purchased it. I owned it from 2002-2003. I graduated high school in 2003.

The car was in sub par condition when I bought it. I put some time into fixing it, but it had almost 200k on it. The underside was quite rusty as well.

Therefore, in 2003 I sold my girlfriend's Ford Probe, and I purchased this beautiful 1988 Dark Sapphire Blue Brougham. I owned this from 2003 to 2007. During this time, I broke up with my girlfriend, added NOS hubcaps and gold emblems, and I cleaned it quite a bit.

Next up is my first 90-92 Brougham. This particular example was a 1991 Brougham finished in Dark Antelope with Light Antelope trim. I took the exterior of this car apart piece by piece and had is all repainted. I added a new rear bumper, and new trunk lid. I also bought all new NOS gold emblems. Even the wheel well moldings I replaced with NOS, which was quite pricey. After awhile I added a set of genuine wire wheels wrapped in brand new Vogue Tyres. I owned this car from 2007-2009
