So far we've added additional opera lights
    Fixed the windshield washer pump
Fixed the automatic parking brake release
Replaced tires, battery, floor mats, steering wheel cover
Complete tune up of the engine
    Tightened the tilt steering column
It has a presidential look, really fantastic. Keep up the good work

^That looks real nice with all of the chrome and cheap plastic removed.

You either bought it, or you're the guy selling it, that black Brougham has been on CL for ages in (If I recall correectly, in the WPB area}. Were it not in such laughable condition, I'd have gone to look at it when I was looking at the other cars I was interested. Instead, I settled that my Mark IV and that Coupe Brougham were far more interesting and tasteful. My opinion, of course. It does look well taken care of though, aside from all of the missing chrome and the sloppy trunk install.

Dullahan, you talking about the black one a couple post up? That looks clean. I've installed dozens of subs and I know that amp rack took some work. Almost looks like a coupe with the exterior that way. I like how the vinyl roof trim around the back matches the paint. Are the bottom trim pieces along the side gone? Hard to tell from my phone.

^Everything is gone; the plastic trim panels, the wheel-well trim, the belt-line trim, the body side molding, and the pin-striping.

I agree that it looks off. There needs to be something to break up the body lines, so that it isn't so monotonous. But overall, I think it is original and not overly humorous.

Re: Post a pic of your RWD Caddy!

IMO its a pretty nice install. I wouldn't want 4 speakers taking up that much of my trunk though - not to mention all the damage those vibrations can do to the car (seen a few ghetto-ed out hoopties in town with rippled trunk lids from the woofers)
I'm not a big fan of all the missing trim/ no striping- makes the car overly bland with nothing to break up the sides....but to each his own. Its pretty stealth looking for an 18 ft car.
kinda surprised no one mentioned the diesel sized exhaust tip.

That Kevin, is because speakers are not meant to be in trunks. Besides, who wants to ride in a trunk?

I do however find it difficult to imagine a wrinkled Brougham trunk due to speaker vibration. (Then again, the concept of a trunk on a Cadillac still requires imagination in my case, but I somehow imagine them at least as sturdy as on my other cars)

Re: Post a pic of your RWD Caddy!

I've seen alot of ricers with woofers and rippled trunks. I've seen a couple old 80's/ 90's chevies (montes and caprices) with rippled trunks too. too much flex I guess.
and yeah, I never got the whole bass in the trunk thing. I want my bass around me, not in the trunk. besides, the only way you can hear the bass would be to sit in the trunk and I dont want to ride in a caddys trunk. bad stuff happens when you do that.

Re: Post a pic of your RWD Caddy!

Precisely. Trunk installs always seemed a bit ridiculous to me (Unless you removed the rear seats and opened the trunk up) but that's because most people with ghettoblasters don't particularly care about the quality of the audio IN their car, just that the people OUTSIDE the car can tell they have it. Were it not for all of he vibrating fibreglass, I wouldn't even know if anyone else on the road had a system, because my system plays the music inside the car (Weird, huh?) and has been proven to drown out emergency vehicle sirens, even with my windows open, so unless it's that half second between tracks I'd probably never hear anything else and even if I did, it would probably be the Folger's can the ghetto kids use for a muffler.
