Ok. Ok. I know. My desire was to have brand new white walls. I was looking into ordering the Eduros with the 1 1/2 inch stripes, but money is an issue. lol I guess I was trying to rationalize and settle for some clean good looking blackwalls.

I guess a tux (caddie) just isn't a tux (caddie) without the bowtie (white walls).

Thanks for putting it back into perspective. I'll have to just save up money for them. I do think the black walls make it look elegant in a simplistic way like stated though.

I think whitewalls make the car look classy while blackwalls make the car look more understated. I like the look of all black on that car because whitewalls stand out too much with an all black car (especially when they're dirty whitewalls).

I've got to find a way to get another one. I've seen a couple in better shape (all of them are in better shape), but I don't know how to get it home. The yards have signs posted that forbid you from working on your car in their parking lot.

It wouldn't fit diagonally in the trunk?

Recline front passenger seat, roll down passenger front window, insert bumper. Done.

it won't fit in the trunk?
personally, I'd take out the passenger seat and lay it front to back in the interior. maybe take out the bottom of the back seat too if thats not enough room.

whats with the sway bar hanging low like that? is that off an impala or something?

and how'd you attach the chrome strip in the middle of the hood? that looks so classy.

Re: Post a pic of your RWD Caddy!

I didn't think about using the Cadillac to get the bumper. I more concerned about how to get it home in my Impala, but taking the seats out of the Cadillac sounds more viable.

The sway bar's always been like that. I think it's because I have the d'Elegance option, which came with a larger differential.

The chrome strip is from a de Ville (RWD). On the de Ville, they're held on with studs that go through the hood. I cut the studs off and filed them smooth, then attached it using emblem adhesive.

My 87's rear bumper is in worse shape than yours! It has so many rust holes I ended up just taping over it with duct tape...lol.

Anyways...I managed to fit a rear bumper for the 1995 caddy in the back seat with a little luck when I first got it. hehe.

Mine is covered in aluminum tape because there isn't any bumper left.

From a magazine ad of the era. Comparing small Fleets with larger ones. Thought you'd all get a kick out of seeing so many Broughams together.
