Will the rear applique' from the 2012 Premium Edit. fit my 2007 Escalade?
New member here-
I am changing some parts on my 2007 Escalade Luxury and I want to change the chrome piece above the license plate that the rear Cadillac crest is mounted to. I believe Cadillac calls the part the rear Applique'. I want to move from the present all chrome part to the 2012 part from the Premium edition which is mainly black with a small chrome strip. It's of course a different part number. Do you know if this new part will fit my 2007 Escalade? My Cadillac dealers parts counter in Orange County couldn't seem to answer this question. My present piece has the back-up camera in it.
Thanks for any input or help on this. If the answer is yes, please get me the price because I want to order one from you.

GM doesn't really have any way for us to know if something will fit on a vehicle that wasn't built that way from the factory
in situations like this you can usually safely assume that it will work but there's not way to know 100% unless you try
(or someone else has already tried and lets you know that you're good to go)
but that's kind of what these forums are for ... sharing information like this so that everyone won't have to make the same trial-and-error quests
in this case you might be the first person to attempt this though
let me know if there's anything else that I can help with
