    Re: Chris: 97 etc parts

i won't be able to ship you the hood so unless you can pick it up or arrange for shipping yourself (and take on the risk of it getting damaged in shipping) then i can't sell you the hood

as for the grille if you can get me your VIN it will make it a bit easier for me to pull up the other grille that your car didn't get
the parts catalog doesn't list them with "painted" or "chrome" just with TL4 and w/o TL4 (and TL4 = special grille ... which one was special the chrome or the painted?)

    cheers,
    chris

That's an understandable position on the hood that I agree with. As for the grill, the painted was standard. Chrome is special. What's the price delivered to Asheville, nc. Zip cope 28792

are you 100% sure that the painted grille was standard?

i'm not and that's why I'm asking for your VIN ... just to make sure we get it right

Painted grille was standard on ETCs. The ESC got the grey (argent?) or chrome grille depending on year.

    Re: Chris: 97 etc parts

ESC was ALWAYS gray with chrome trim. There was NO all chrome grille for the 95+ Eldorado. The 92-94 did but it will not mount on a 95+ hood.

    Re: Chris: 97 etc parts

You need your eyes checked, thats EXACTLY as we stated above. Argent silver with chrome trim. It is NOT an all chrome grille. Perhaps you should look in front of your car and see what it is.

I suppose chrome is the wrong word. I stand corrected. Mine HAD a body colored grill. The kid I bought it from smashed into the rear end of a truck and I'm trying to get it the way I want. I have heard of billit caddy grills, but am only able to find them for new or old eldos. Apparently not a large calling for 10th gen.

hmm... yeah i just checked some aftermarket options and if they don't even make one then you're pretty much stuck with the oem options
