    2000 Deville seat heaters

It's summer and won't even need seat heaters until its cold again, but I've noticed I can't seem to find any direct fit for my 2000 DTS. Just curious if its possible to get the drivers front seat heaters. I also need a drivers side knee bolster with night vision in wheat color, and a drivers door lock knob.
I can live without any of these, but if I can get the parts, I'd prefer to fix them.

    Re: 2000 Deville seat heaters

There is a TSB for the seat heaters ... they are still available from GM
you can download the TSB here: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B_pv...it?usp=sharing

you will need to isolate which specific heat element on the seat is the one that you need
i think they are wired in series so if one burns out the others will also fail
a visual inspection should easily tell which one has gone bad

    the knee bolster
    #12482721
    $318.73 - list price
    $239.05 - your price

I don't stock it but GM has a some in one of the Michigan warehouses
it will probably take a week to get it to you once you order it

    the driver's lock knob
    #21993629
    $12.88 - list price
    $8.05 - your price

I will probably also have to order this from GM

let me know if you have any questions

    cheers,
    chris
