    Plastic Retainer - Coupe Spoiler

Hoping you can get this part for me, they're referred to as "plastic retainers" in the factory spoiler installation guide for a CTS Coupe.

Attached is the picture from the instructions.

they're not sold separately from the spoiler package

if you got a spoiler and it's missing them then you didn't get what you paid for and should be able to file a claim to exchange out the spoiler kit for a complete kit

if you're just looking to get those then you're going to be out of luck
GM won't give me part numbers for those retainers

Re: Plastic Retainer - Coupe Spoiler

I'm trying to remove the spoiler to be able to get my third brake light removed & painted. From what I see it's almost a guarantee they're gonna snap. The clips aren't accessible from behind the trunk lid and the studs from the spoiler click it to them or something along those lines. At this point I'm just wondering what the dealership would do in the event my third brake light shorted out or something.. get me a whole new spoiler kit?

    Thank you for looking though!

    that's a good question

i would think that those retainers wouldn't need to be removed

it looks like they clip into the decklid to anchor in and aren't supposed to come off
