    97 Eldorado ETC 127,1xx miles

I had my oil light flicker just below 1 rpm yesterday. Hasn't done it since at same rpm, so everyone else here says I need a new oil switch and o-rings. How much to ship these out to bay area California?

Thanks I'll get back to you on that. But I want to ask you; since I am replacing the bad oil switch, what is the point in changing the o-rings? The other Seville/eldorado owners say I should and I'm not sure why. What's your opinion?

It's easier to get the switch off by taking the oil filter adapter off first then removing the switch from the adapter

that's the usual repair strategy that people recommend here

the o-rings go between the block and the adapter

So do I need to buy the o-rings or can I just use the current one(s)? Also my plastic trim on the driver seat (left side) that has the power seat adjustments is broken at the front of the seat. It kind of waves around. If you know what I mean. It runs from the front of the seat to the back (the trim). How much to get this part? The seat will move but not fully in all directions unless I push the buttons really hard back against the seat...

for $5.56 it's pretty cheap insurance that you won't need to do the job twice

i'll need your VIN to make sure i look up the right trim piece ... can you PM it or just post the last 8 digits here?

Sorry to say but it's discontinued. Salvage yards are your friend. If you need I can recommend a place or two.
