This is a link to the last turbo Buick, (but open to all cars), pizza cruise last month. We had about 20 turbo Buicks & a few vettes show up. Most cruised from Pt. Fermin in Wilmington, I believe, to the pizza shop. Everybody that wanted to brought their families, wives, kids, girlfriends, mistresses, whatever. It would be great to get some of the Cad CTS-V's there also. The guy that owns the pizza shop does this about every 5 months or so. Great family fun. Lots of kool cars. I think that I posted that up, but no Cads showed up. There's some great pics in there on about page 4 or 5 or so.

Probably out of a stage II race motor. Jeff Rand builds motors, and that is out of his collection of "what detonation problem are you referring to?".
There's probably a few low 10 sec cars in the group.

Irvine would be fun. How about Cars & Coffee in Carlsbad at the Premium Outlets. Last Saturday of every month.

If I have a choice, I would prefer Irvine over Carlsbad due to the length of travel, but I will abide by whatever the majority opts for. I would just be happy to have an opportunity to check out everybodys CTS-V's. There are a few people up in this area that may not be able to travel to Carlsbad due to time constraints and family obligations. We could also try Irvine the 19th or the 26th as necessary to accomodate Mas and then maybe if everybodys interested do Carlsbad the next month. Wherever we go, I think that it would be a great time and an excellent opportunity to put forum user names to names & faces in real life. Checking out the cars and seeing that many CTS-V's together would be a real + though.

For other interesting possibilities you guys might want to check out SoCalCarulture for future locations for cruise spots & get-togethers.
Definitely thanks for the interest, too. I am sure that we will enjoy checking out everybody elses car.

    Carlsbad?

You guys must be into torture or something...

Just keep in mind, Irvine alone would be about a 2 hr drive for me.

    Luna,

I totally understand that Carlsbad is too far. I wouldn't go all the way to Ventura. Although my sister lives there. Naturally I mentioned Carlsbad because the location is only 4 miles from my house.

Irvine may work for me on the 19th, but not the 26th.

Depending on the date I would love to meet with other V owners

Re: Calling out all SoCal members

Also, there is a car show this Sunday, 06-06-2010, beginning at about 9:00 AM or so at Bates Nut Farm which, I believe is in maybe Valley Center. It is a yearly show primarily consisting of turbo Buicks but open to all american iron, new and old. Admission is free. Entering a car is $25.00 I believe. Sponsored by the BGNRA, or what's left of it. I will be there with either my '87 turbo Buick or my '09 CTS-V, not sure which one just yet. If any of you guys come, come look me up and introduce yourself. This is a great show with generally about 60 or so cars. If you are into Turbo Buicks, there will be about 25 or so there.

    Gary,

I go to the Valley View Casino and car shows there often. I'm only 25 min. away and might stop by with the V
