    4300k is a pure white..
    The blue tint (or purple tint on some OEM's) is a result of the HID light passing the cutoff...in effect its like when light passes through a prism... Think about it...the light output isnt blue when your sitting in the car, certainly not as blue as the headlights look from the front of the car. This is why you often need 6000k fogs to match the OEM HID low beams, since the fog bulbs dont have the cutoff to affect the output.

    sounds about right.. i was never saying they weren't just trying to learn

    All i was saying is 6k is what you will need in the fogs to match the stock hid headlights.
    been there and tried all the bulbs.

    nope just brought a drill make a little custom bracket and lined it up.
    took maybe 10min couple bolts and nuts. nothing the mind cant solve...

    haha paint for the win.. but na i think i might just leave it stock for now,
    tomorrow take off the hood chrome trim hit it with adhesive primer paint and clear..
    and see what it looks like.

    its really easy to take the chrome trim. its only few bolts.
    take few pics if you do it tomorrow
