Repair shops in Palm Springs Cal. or the Coachella Valley?
I'm a recent transplant to Palm Springs and by what I see in the supermarket parking lots, this is Caddy Heaven. Hundreds of well kept machines from the 90s and 00s are everywhere, all driven carefully by old folks who I suspect did every recommended maintenance, kept it garaged in the dry desert air, and barely cracked 5k miles a year.
Anyway, I need some rear suspension work on my '97 Deville (and I'm sure I'll need something at some point for my '93 Sedan Deville) and would like to use a local mechanic OTHER than a dealership. Ideally it would be someone who is familiar with these creatures and isn't a slave to the estimated hours in the shop manual. Any recommendations?
This weekend I spotted a shop called "Dare Cadillac" on Ramon in Cathedral City. Nobody answers the phone so maybe they are DOA. Too bad. They looked like just the ticket.
