    Help with my 1990 deville?

She starts fine when I put starter fluid on the carburetor, but will only stay running a few seconds until all the starter fluid burns up, there is no gas getting to the engine for some reason. There is gas in the tank. I changed the fuel filter and all fuel pump related fuses, I can hear the pump click on so I don't think that's the problem, any ideas?
