    429: Replace or Repair

My '66, the love of my life, just trew a rod and cracked the block. I've priced out both repairing and replacing the block, comes out to about the same. My concern is longevity and my question is, cost aside, what's the better option; a used but intact block or my used and repaired block?

I'd go with a different block if it was my '66.
