I doubt I'm the only person here who buys vehicles based on his passenger's comfort (and safety). The picture below looks to me like a VERY comfortable back seat. How difficult would it be for the next Escalade to have something like this for the second row?
Obviously, we see reclining seats with an ottoman-like piece that extends out forward. The leather should be extremely supple. The seats should have the ability to electronically move back for more leg-room in the event there are no third row occupants. The second row seats should also have the ability to swivel for easy conversation with third row occupants.
There should be sufficient sound-deadening material at the bottom of the truck. Currently, there is far too much road noise - and even wind noise.
I think the vehicle you're referring to - which may be on the streets by 2012 - is the new flagship. While it may have some styling queues of the Sixteen (which is actually starting to get old), it won't actually "be" the Sixteen. If Cadillac started making Sixteens now, they'd screw it up. They need to make S-Class competitors before they jump to Bentley competitors...
I wish Fleetwood also came with those gadgets ....LOL, kidding
I find my car almost perfect
I think for the sake of increasing the sales figures for Cadillac Escalade namely in Europe , a diesel engine is a must rather than those power seats
Cadillac Boy has a point.. Would they Cadillac R&D prefer to spend millions on developing a super plush seat (to replace their generally good current second row) or would the money be better spent on designing a new Diesl engine, or maybe those rear sunshades, pushbutton start, and Bluetooth...
And do you really want the Escalade to top the $100k mark?
