Team Cadillac is back in professional motorsports. Cadillac and GM Racing have commissioned Pratt & Miller Engineering to build all-new World Challenge Cadillac CTS-V Coupe race cars for the 2011 season.

And there is more news! The “Red Rocket” himself, Johnny O’Connell, has joined Team Cadillac. This means Johnny continues his decade-long career with GM Racing by moving over to the new Cadillac team. Johnny’s teammate driving a second Cadillac CTS-V Coupe will be none other than Andy Pilgrim. Andy is excited to be back with GM Racing and Cadillac.

The Mosport SpeedFest Corral is a VIP Hospitality package that includes:
• 3-day admission, a private chalet with trackside (Turn 1) hospitality
• reserved parking for owners of Corral-featured cars
• tech talks, driver appearances, autograph sessions, prizes
• an opportunity for a controlled on-track parade lap around Mosports
• Sunday bar-b-q lunch.

There will also be tours of the various team paddocks where you can get up close and personal to the teams, cars and crews. All this for $100 per person.

The Word Challenge Sports Car Wars will enhance the fan experience. The program aims to reward fans for their enthusiastic support of their favourite cars, teams and drivers, including a Manufacturers' Fan Championship crowned at the end of the season.

A number of factors determine the winners of each race weekend. While the volume of fans plays a role in the decision, how those fans celebrate their brand will now be much more important. Activities that will be part of the determination include the March to the Grid participation, in which fans will join their favourite team leading up to the grid for pre-race ceremonies. There will also be an enhanced post-race celebration. So wear your favourite car marque, club attire or favourite teams' shirt and bring your Cadillac out to the Corral.

The Mosport SpeedFest schedule includes:SCCA Pro Racing Trans-Am Series, World Challenge GT, GTS and Touring Class, Canadian Castrol Touring Car Championship, SCCA Pro Spec Racer, SCCA Pro Formula Enterprises and the Sundown Grand Prix.
