    how do i remove the...

    does anyone know how to remove the shift knob
    on the 2001 seville sts
    i tried like all day (30 mins)
    to remove it
    it wouldnt move
    grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
    help plz

    I checked the shop manual for my 98 SLS and there's no mention at on on the knob removal. I went out to my car, put the shifter in the drive position and gave it a yank straight up. It came right off.

    i don't know what to tell you. whenever i work on cadillacs EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE and yank the shift knob off like i was taught to, it comes off.
