I would love a plug and play solution, but as I have said along with just about everyone else in this thread we need to see numbers.
Now, you don't have to put it on the dyno and post the numbers up as you don't really need to prove anything to us if you yourself aren't selling them, so don't take it as we want to go blow 80 bucks on the dyno just so they can sell their last one. But I would be the first one to overnight them 750.00 if it is what you claim it to be.
I have documented dyno runs for my car so the dyno would be the first place I would go to see the improvement. |

I found the one I use by going to the Dynojet website and using their search.
Here is a link. Automotive Dynamometers - Innovations & Performance Products from Dynojet.com
But I guess if Pep Boys has one and they don't have high school auto shop students running it you might be ok... i personally prefer the race shops, a little more knowledge there. Yet this isn't always true... the first shop I dynoed at couldn't spell Northstar let alone know anything about them.
I had to show them where to get spark signal from, which can be tricky on a N*. |

A 3-letter reply to a 2 2/3 year old thread isn't necessary, especially when it has nothing to do with your car or programming and offers no further advice. |

If your engine controls use the same, or close to the same, OBD-II and PCM programs as our 2000-2004 FWD Northstars, we're all out of luck. Nothing has come around except speed limiter removal. Either Wester's Garage network or AJxtcman in here can do that. |

I have been in contact with Ross at EFILive and he has sent me some files to work on and test
Ross has recently picked up a RWD Northstar engine and trans for a project. That is a big deal |

The entire PCM reprogramming for the 00 - 04 FWD Northstars is way on the back burner. Don't hold your breath. If you read this entire thread and the companion Tuning thread in this Forum you'll find that there were never any real gains discovered. Lots of burnt up PCM's, though.
If you're looking for something after 2004, maybe there's a lead up in the newer individual car threads ^^^^. |

Welcome to the club !!!! You're in a long line.............
There are lots of other small tuner tips you can do, and it's all in here, takes NO aftermarket money - it's all DIY with common parts - and the engine looks stock.
Save up a bunch of $$$$ and install a CORSA cat-back. (None for Eldorado) The largest gain of any mod currently on the street. Change to a WIX air filter: more surface area = less restriction.
Be very careful of so-called "CAI kits". For this run of FWD Northstars they tend to cause a midrange power suckout and set engine mixture codes. All been documented in here for years. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
