blown head gasket

ok no laughs,i just recently bought a 1997 sls and just recently found it to have a blown gasket

. outside of the warranty i have from the seller ,3 months 3000 miles is there any way cadillac will foot any of the cost to repair or replace this nightmare?

I'm curious how you determined it was a HG, I don't doubt you, It's just that sometimes there are other problems whose symptoms can be confused with a HG, my N* is case in point.

Seriously, to be on the safe side, do the PSI test described at:
http://www.cadillacforums.com/cadillac-tech.html#gasket

It's foolproof, and it is cheap, and it can save you a lot of money if it proves you wrong.

All other tests are semi-inconclusive (hydrocarbons, bubbles, steam, hogwash, blah).
