    Codes and Coolant Mistery, Hesitation

1995 Cadillac Concours Nothstar. I have these codes come up under History S044, and S036 does anyone know what they mean?

I have had a mistery coolant smell for sometime now. I have tried everything I know, like tightend all the clamps changed old looking hoses, and added the conditioner. No water in oil, no visable leaks, just a smell when engine turns off.

I also have a small hesitation at low speed acceleration?

    Thanks for the input

S036 ...................... Electronic Level Control Compressor Short to Ground/Open
S044 .................................................. ... Lift or Dive Signal Fault

Re: coolant leak, remove the AIT sensor. Loosen the intake duct clamps and lift and rotate the air box out of the way. Run your fingers along the lower edge of the water pump cover. They are known to leak and can be very hard to locate. GM has redisigned the cover gasket. I have one sitting on my bench waiting for warmer weather.
