    Exclamation new 99 eng for 97 how much is different?

    please help me quick. short time to make the deal. how much different is the 99 northstar from the 97 northstar? i can get a new engine with transmission, but how much more will i have to get?

    I think they are the same but I would not swear to it. Try posting the question at Caddyinfo.com and see if anyone over there can tell you for sure.

    99% sure they are exactly the same. You may need to change out the fuel rail though to work with your car.
