Never installed coolant supplement pellets, bad?

As far as i know, i have never had cooling supplement tabs put in the motor in the past 5 or 6 years. So far, nothing bad has happened. Is it possible not using those supplements can damage the head gasket?

If it has no nuisance weeps (the reason for the GM tablets in the first place) then don't sweat it. The sealant tablets, dubbed "cooling system supplement" by GM and supplied by Bar's Leaks company, have absolutely nothing to do with head gaskets.
