| Re: 93-99 Camshaft picture needed In the diagram you can see the circle indicating the location of the cam position sensor and the small dots on the face of each of the two sprockets are the dowel of which Mark C speaks. The sensor triggers a pulse each time the cam sprocket passes 6:00 (related to the head surface), so if you can supply the proper pulse (half engine speed) you should be OK.
Somehow, find the total amount of electrical advance allowed by a coil pack-driving PCM. A Northstar only runs 32 - 34 degrees, MAX total due to the very short stroke. |
