Well....I never do & honestly, Im concerned that by doing WOT it will cause damage to something expensive under the hood. Im probably wrong but it just seems like its abuse to the engine, trans & who knows what else. Please correct me if Im wrong. My car has 120k on it. thanks  |

I do a WOT kick down almost everytime I drive mine. I read a thread from an expert not too long ago that talked about the problems of NOT beating these engines once in a while. They will carbon up and develop problems. They basically said the engine (and transmisson) was designed for high performance and should be used that way. So everytime you're on the ramp to the highway, mash it to the floor and enjoy! |

Probably daily. I'm not sure you can hurt these things. The harder you drive them the better they run. You'll do more damage by NOT running the crap out of it. Also in a TSB. The best way to ruin an expensive performance engine is to baby it.

About 2 times a day. I go out of my way to jump on the freeway and hammer the piss out of this car. AJ tune + Corsa catback = fun times. This car makes me feel like a kid again.  |
