    Radiator hoses

I just received an order I placed with Rock Auto. I bought new belts and radiator hoses. Neither hoses has a spring in it. I am accustomed to a lower hose having a spring to keep it from collapsing. Am I supposed to have one? Do I need to reuse the existing spring? Or does the N* not use a spring? The hoses are AC Delco by the way.

I would use the existing spring if you have one. These systems have a lot of pressure so unless the radiator is completely clogged I don't see the hose sucking flat.

    Re: Radiator hoses

Changed my belts and hoses this morning. There wasn't a spring in the old hose. The hoses on the car were the originals. So I guess I was worried about nothing. But this is the first car I have had that did not have a spring in the lower hose.
