I call it a "race car" because it has some upgrades to the exterior and performance/suspension/brake mods. Personally I think it looks great, if it was RWD then this car would be totally hot.

This car's gotta be sitting somewhere, I wonder who made the body kit(or is it just the front bumper)?

Does anyone know the wheel/tire size? They look like 18" wheels.

If I recall correctly..a number of modifications were done by a company called Cunningham. Hence the STSi Cunningham Edition name that is sometimes associated with the Le Mans Pace car pictured.

It had Corsa exhaust and a revised intake...think it made around 330hp or so at the crank...nothing wild.

I emailed wheeltowheel. Here's their response.

I helped with the original builds, and program managed their updates for 01 and 02, so I know a fair amount about each of the cars. There were actually 5 plus a development car. I am not sure where any of them are now a days. Here are a few photos.

I'm looking for some information and I'm hoping to find some help. I believe that Jeff Beitzel had part in the 2000 STSi Lemans Pace Car. I was hoping to find out if there were any high resolution photos of these cars anywhere. There are none to be found on the internet. Also, the where abouts of any of these cars as well? I know only 5 were built but maybe one made it to a museum somehow? I'm just a '98 STS owner with a passion for these beautiful cars. Any help would be appreciated by me and many others on www.cadillacforums.com
