    Has anyone experience there car cutting off when the fuel is low but will restart?

    I have a 1999 Seville SLS and was curious if anyone experience there car cutting off when the fuel is low (not empty) but the car will restart?

    How low? Any car will run low enough on gas to act up.

    The fuel cools the pump. Most likely your pump is going bad and cuts out as it heats up. Also check the in tank wiring harness for burned connections.

    Someone had the baffles in the tank missing/broken and fuel would slosh away from the pump on curves. They replaced the tank and cured the problem.
