Opinions on possible purchase 91 Deville

I am about to buy this 91 Deville on auction in a few hours. Can anyone tell me what I can expect in terms of problems and disapointments. I used to drive a 97 Concours (so I am familiar with the N*) and I drive a Mark VIII now. Here are the specs:

    1991 Sedan Deville
    California Car
    1 Owner
Black on Black (good cosmetic condition)
    98,000 miles
    4.9L V8

Is $2500 worth it? Or would you rather spend $4800 for a 94 Concours N*, three owners, white/beige leather 103,000miles? Thanks for the input.

Haha I tell you man you and I are one in the same. I just crashed my 91 cadillac deville to purchase a 97 caddy concours. I loved that car! it was my baby ran well and I had 180,000 miles on it. Now I am driving a 97 caddy concours. I am not happy with the problems I am experiencing with the car. It keeps reading to me on a code that it is the o2 heater sensor?? have you ever experienced this?? should I sell this car?? its really begining to piss me off! but yes I would purchase that 91 I loved mine and had few problems with it.

I have confidence in the 4.9 from how it feels to what I learn on this Forum. 26,000 miles, and just a faulty motherboard in the radio. That was the factories fault, so nothing really. I learned from others that you should be able to go 150,000 miles with few or NO problems, good luck. (plus the styling in very classy.)

Of course you do, as you should! KC, are you going to get another 150,000 miles out of your 1991 Seville, or look at a new one? I see you in a black DTS.
