    changing PCValve on 94 eldorado

i've had my cadillac for 3 years and never changed the pcvalve.

How often should this be changed?

If its dirty or clogged would it affect the cars performance?

    is it easy to change?

    where is it located?

If it is plugged, it needs to be changed. They are really inexpensive and they are simple to change out. Leaning in over the passenger side fender, look at the left side of engine just pass the highest point the serpentine belt travels. The PCV valve is inserted into the top of the left side cam cover. There is a small diameter black tubing coming out the top of it that runs toward the back of the engine (towards the driver's side).
