Advice on NorthStar coils - both ignition types

Need some help. I've had service recently on both of my Cadillacs, a 1995 Eldorado and 2000 DTS, both with the Northstar V-8. After each service visit, each engine had an engine coil go out less than 30 days after service. Is this a phenomenal stroke of bad luck, or is something amiss?

There's nothing to prevent a 1995 waste spark coil ( 1 of 4 ) going bad or a 2000 cassette system coil ( 1 of 8 ) going bad either. CF has many instances of either type of ignition system losing a coil ........

    Bad luck.

Pictures/diagrams of both system types in my albums.

hey guys, I don't know what sort of service you had performed, but I do know its very easy to lay an arm or droplight or hit the coils with a ratchet handle. moving old wires or connections should be handled carefully, not really what someone does when working for pay. just sayin'...even simple oil changes by others don't always go right. no one will take care of your car like you. subscribe to alldataDIY. and keep asking the good group of people at this sight.
if it doesn't come loose fairly easy find out why, leverage is not always the answer. turn a wrench and save da money, later Ed
