99 Concourse, just going to buy then clonk
following several days of checking out the history of a 99 Concourse, I finally noticed a fault on an otherwise perfect vehicle.
After decelerating in normal traffic driving, when the power was again applied, there was a deep down clonk in the transmission line somewhere. It was as though quite a lot of rotational slack had been taken up. It did it several times.
Any ideas...is it serious? RB

Re: 99 Concourse, just going to buy then clonk
probably motor/trans mount. Depending on which one is shot its either very easy/inexpensive or costly/troublesome. Not a major problem but you should look into it before it gets more serious
