Do you have a Service Engine light? Have you looked for codes? Anything else colorful about the history of the car?

Check the fuel pressure regulator. Pull the vacuum hose off the regulator (that small canister shaped device on the fuel rail) and turn on the key to energize the fuel pump. Watch the vacuum nipple for any sign of fuel seeping from it...??

Are you sure you have fuel pressure. You might put a gauge on the shraeder valve fitting on the fuel rail and check the fuel pressure while cranking.
