does anyone have any info on what it would take to mount a Northstar to a Fiero trans? the reason i am asking is i have a plan to take a lil Metro hatchbacc with a blown motor ($800) and a junk Fiero with a good 5 speed ($250) and a used northstar that my uncle has out of a 98 STS, 98,000 miles ($1000). i want to throw the northstar on the feiro trans and mount that bitch in the bacc of the metro to make the ultimate sleeper (priceless) put a ricer body kit on it, neons, ricer wheels, fart can, all that shit. i did some calculations and i found that with 300 horses, i can get like a high 10 second quarter, if i can hookup. TIA
Interesting..... You'll be happy to know that it bolts right up. There is one bolt hole that doesn't line up, but you can make an adapter out of a block of aluminum. You'll need a flywheel specifically for the northstar, and last I heard they were about $500 from spec(??)
Ive seen several sites where Northstar's were implated into fiero's using the fiero tranny... I believe one (or more) member here has a fiero with a N*....
Post picture of your progress, I'd love to see what it looks like.... Reminds of the 'SHOGUNS' ford built back in the day... They dropped in a turbo (or supercharged) taurus SHO V6 in the back of a fiesta.... Things looked ugly has hell, but they were quick...

They have a list of engines that will fit the Fiero. If you do a Google search, you'll come up with a lot of sites that offer info on this custom install.
