    oil pressure low...engine getting hotter

    How do i know if the oil pump is going out? there a way to test it?
    engine has been running around 112% till recently now at 222%
    display been saying low oil pressure "turn engine off now"
    I restart then the message doesnt come back on.

    I was a little scared buying this car....now i know why

    uh ..first do NOT run the engine anymore ...either have it towed to a shop or fix it yourself wherver it sits ....if the engine is running hotter and your getting oil pressure warnings , something is very wrong !!!!!!

    What is 112% and 222%?
    The temperature? What is it?
    Sorry, I can't understand.
    I remember I accidently swithed reading from engl. to metrical and was really scared at first... LOL

    well turns out the engine always was getting oil, and for the temp change...must be old coolant. drove the car all day today stayed at 112' all day. and no low oil light
