Size of hose used to connect heater line tubing

Hi all, i was wondering if some one might know the diameter of the hose that is used to connect the heater line tubes, there are 2 short pieces right above the park/neutral switch.

    Thanks!

I would guess 3/4", but get to a NAPA store, pull a hose from stock and measure the ID.

You're supposed to use a special silicone hose there, but I've used regular heater hose there with no problems

Where can you get silicon hose? Advance Auto had lots of hose, but we had problems finding 3/4" ID, much less silicon hose. I did not see anything in the hose selection beside the common black heater hose.

The silicone hose was used in an attempt to increase heat resistance and life. If you have to, use good ol' black heater hose with good clamps and slip a length of cutesy braided silver covering over each piece..............
