    Question What is a timesert?

    If you guys can help me and tell me what is a timesert. Also can someone give me an estimate how much a valve adjustment job will cost?

    Timesert is a thread repair somewhat like a helicoil but stronger.

    Valve adjustment job? I think they are self adjusting. What makes you think you need such a thing?

    Also use the search feature in the forum tool bar and type in "timesert" into the drop down box. Lots of info on this already.

    Nothing to adjust in the valve train or timing drive. Both are maintenance free with hydraulic valve lash adjusters and timing chain tensioners. Cost....???.....nothing.
