Hello all Getting ready to do my plenum gasket and intake gaskets. I was wondering if Felpro gaskets for the intake manifold would be ok to use. Dont wanna use them if im gonna have problems with them..Also, do i need to use any type of stuff to hold these onto the intake when i change them or are they recessed or something of that nature? Thanks for all your help..

Re: Felpro intake manifold gaskets
Our intake manifold seals fit into formed grooves in the manifold - no goop needed. FelPro is perfectly fine. I shudder to think how much they have made from me over the last 55 years. (If the originals aren't flattened out, use them over.) Manifold bolt torque is only 89 in/lb. About 7.5 ft/lb. Be careful or you'll crack a bolt boss.

Thanks for all your help Sub..Im having a tough time finding the Plenum boot at the local GM dealers..so I might end up having to wait until next week, wanted to do it over the weekend..Oh well..it is what it is...
