Proudly owning my first caddy seems to take alot of patience in payments and ideas/ savings accounts. I need info on so much but for now i have odd transmission noise in first gear sometimes second, fellow tech suggested i am losing my clutches and to try lucas oil. I also need info on two aftermarket parts which I cant seem to find Vertical grilles and a woodgrain steering wheel/insert for stock model. It's good to see other caddy owners helping out other caddy owners, anyone in Central Jersey may see a young kid in a mulberry deville flying a jets flag wave, I kinda dig the nod/ wave back, to me it's a legacy not just a car.
I am also new to this site as well as the whole forum thing, however i am a Cadillac lover to the bone, I used to own a 1979 Coupe Deville and currently own a 1996 Deville and was suprised to find a site with so many people that love Cadillac's as much as i do. Good luck in your search.
Good to know there's old school caddy lovers left. Something about fins makes me feel like I'm driving a true land shark. But the shark is left w/o nice woodgrain wheel and shiny gold vertical grille. The search continues.......

Re: New member, questions and suggestions
gold?! awgh...personal opinion, I know, but I can't stand gold grills or gold wheels or gold fender flares or much of gold anything...my canvas top tie down screws are partially gold, on the inside, and they bother me once in a while...
