    does anyone know about the +22 hp progressive tuner off of ebay, they say it plugs into the factory harness on IAT sensor and it sends a signal to ur ecu. and from there the ecu makes the adjustments for the performance settings.

    I think it works with the MAF just like all the other diode "scam" advertise on ebay. Basicaly they replace the MAF with a static or variable (in this case) resistance so the computer put more or less gas in the cylinder. So you get a rich or lean mix depending on the condition, throtle position, altitude etc...

    My advice is let the carefully developped computer on a 70 000$ car choose the appropriate fuel mixture instead of a 20$ el cheapo variable resistance.
