    P041 1994 deville concours

I had just had the P041 code come up in the last few days. When ever i brake or slow down the check engine light comes on, then when i accerlate it will go off and show a history. I am looking at replacing the Cam Position Sensor but would like to have a few pictures or a better description of how to replace it, then looking in the Chiltons book, thats useless.

P041 sounds like you have the 4.9L. If so, its a piece of cake, all you need is a small open end wrench - 1/4" i believe. The only hard part is the fact that the tiny sensor costs big bucks.

That is an OBDI (pre '96) code.
