is it the head gasket again?

so i have a 2000 dts and i got the heads done a little over a year ago. about a week ago the water pump went so i got it replaced. a few days later it was running a bit over normal temp so i checked it was low on antifreeze so i topped it off. i checked back again this morning and it was low again so i put more in. now its getting a lot hotter and the bottom hose coming from the water pump is staying pretty cold. should i be worried about the head gasket.

That is odd that it would fail if they used the proper inserts (Not Helicoils). Check the purge line for flow.

It's on the side of the surge tank near the top. Do a search. It's been discussed many, many times.
