    Camshafts and transaxle gear ratio. The 275 produces max. torque at a slightly lower engine RPM.

    I drive a concours so I have the 300hp but I only heard you feel them when your going over 70+ MPH

    Yup...

    I went from an Eldorado ESC to an ETC and my older 270HP motor felt peppier off the line and in normal cruising... The ETC picks up harder above 4000RPM, but it loses a lot of low end torque IMO...

    another thing is appication... thge 275hp version was designed for more daily, around town driving, it actually has more torque, and at a lower RPM, that way the engine dosn't have to rev high to get the car moving as fast.... which is also why they use the 275hp version on all commercial chassis (limo, herse etc...) While the 300hp version is more of a high revving engine (hence it's use in the Touring models) which, from what I have heard, dosn't off the off the line grunt, but has more balls when on the highway....
