ok i think i found out as to why my car warsm up in idle. i am getting up to 235 and it will come down when i drive. i checked the fans (thanks to a suggestion from a forum member  )and they arent cutting on. i let the car get to 208 and no fans i also turned the ac on which i was told at least one should and both didnt cut on. so the car got to 208 with ac on and no fans. does it take the engine to get hotter or could something be wrong?
Fans should turn on at about 224 degrees F. The relays are located in between the bottom of the two fans. There are 3 of them. I forget how they're wired to work but I did hotwire them to toggle switches on my car to bandaid a HG problem for a while before I changed my engine.

For some reason on my car the fan doesn't kick on when the a/c is turned on, but everything works fine. It doesn't overheat or anything. On my dads 99 eldo, one fan does kick on when the a/c is turned on though. I think it varies depending on the car.
yeah i always was told one shold cut on right away. well im going to drive around today until i hit 224 and see if they cut on will one or both cut on at 224
Both at low speed... they should switch to high speed at about 228
