I need to find someone closer than Canada to do my headgaskets !!

I want to perform a pre-emptive strike and change the headgaskets on a known good engine. But damn, 1000 mile tow is just going to cost so much !!

Aren't there any reasonable shops in Mass. that would do it...

I wish I could take 3 days off and drive it up and back, but who's got that amount of time available...I certainly don't !!!

If you have the forethought and the "luxury" of planned downtime, why not make the trip and get the job done right by a reputable shop? I'm sure the guy will work with you on an appointment window to minimize your time away from work. Drop off the vehicle and go fishing for a few days. Like Andy said to Aunt Bee, "Just call the man".
