Any differences in an Export N* Engine and a Domestic One?
I am looking into buying a 97 VIN 9 Northstar from an export car (Speedometer is a fixed 240 KPH one) which I assume is a Canadian version and putting it into my Diamond white 97 STS that I have sitting in my driveway. All I'm getting is the engine (and accessories) and the sensors that are on the block. The engine visually looks the same as the one in my car now and I am planning on using my original harnesses, bracketry, and PCM that came in the car originally. Is there a difference in the engine sensors, or anything that would prevent me from doing this? I'm assuming all 97 VIN 9 engines are mechanically the same with only minor bracket and mount differences to install them in Sevilles, Devilles, or Eldorados.
