i have a 95 deville concours with a fastchip, a straight pipe replacing cat and resonator and a pair of magnaflow mufflers. my local track is a 1000ft track which is shorter than a 1/4 mile (1320ft) but longer than an 1/8 (660ft)
Heh, my buddy bought an '08 Steeda GT Mustang and only ran a best of 9.1 in the 1/8th. I'd love to see your car stay with him, lol. Those new Mustangs are too freigin heavy and slow. Nice run!.
i had my car on the scales where i work with myself (195 lbs), 1/4 of a tank of gas and my two massive 12's in the trunk which weigh 75-100 and the total weight was 4060...nobody realizes that the new gt500s, chargers, challengers etc weigh 4000+ without the driver, gas and all the normal crap people have in their cars.
I would guess very low 14s is where your number would come in. Do you know what parameters exactly the chip modified? I would assume it advanced timing some and increased line pressure on the trans leading maybe even moved redline or delayed shift? What were the ambient conditions? What tire pressure were you running?
Good numbers...
