    ac only blows warm air

My ac in my cadillac seville turns on and off and when the ac turns off it only throws hot air when the compresser turns off but half of the time the compresser is always off. It turns on when it wants to turn on but i dont know what to do it's a 1995 cadillac seville. I toke out the old refregerant and tride to put new refregerant but the compresser doesn't turn on so it can suck in the refregerant in.

The compressor clutch is probably shot. I would say a new compressor. But if it comes on and still blows hot air, then its your condensor. It could be both.

If the AC set a code for low freon it won't turn on the compressor clutch.

Why did you take out all the old freon?? How did you do that? Did oil come out too? How much?

If little or no oil came out take the battery cable off for about 20 seconds. Then immediately try charging the air again.

Taking the battery cable off will clear the computer.
